Introduction

Hello! My name is Grace G. I am a senior at Arizona State University; I am currently finishing up my degree in Graphic Information Technology. While I am completing my classes, I am working as a bartender at a wonderful little distillery in my hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

I have had a bit of an unconventional professional and academic career. After high school I took some time away from the academic world. I traveled around a bit and gained irreplaceable experiences in amazing places and amazing people. I entered directly into the workforce and spent several years building up experience. I eventually decided to reenter school in January 2020 (wonderful timing I know). I am now very close to completing my degree in a field that I am deeply passionate about.

In my personal life I love to spend time with my friends, go to art shows and music events, and take my sweet dog on hikes. I love to paint and create crafts. I am also a HUGE DnD fan.

Work History

In terms of my work history, I have a decade of experience in the service industry under my belt. I have worked every position from busser to manager and have now found a happy balance as a bartender.

As much as I have loved my time in this field, I have been making strides to move into a creative design related career. I have always held a deep love and appreciation for art, but never gave myself the chance to pursue that love. Through this degree I have been making progress towards my goal and I am excited to see what the future holds for me!
